E. Brooke Carroll, Ph.D.

She has been involved in education for over 30 years. Her career has spanned public, private, and charter schools as well as post-secondary programs. She is currently the principal consultant and coach at Acies Strategies, supporting small schools and nonprofits in board development, leadership development, strategic thinking and planning, and head search. Carroll holds a doctorate in educational psychology and has served on seven school and non-profit boards. Prior to consulting and coaching, she was head of school for nine years at Seneca Academy, an International Baccalaureate World School.

 Carroll lives in Gaithersburg, Maryland, with her husband, two black cats, and, occasionally, her two young adult children.
